Sub-tick precision improved in latest 200MB patch
Valve quietly shipped a 200MB CS2 patch that tightens server-side sub-tick reconciliation.

The patch — labeled simply "matchmaking and stability" — actually contains the most consequential sub-tick changes since launch.
Frame-perfect tests by community devs show the AWP no-scope window has shrunk by ~6ms, and tagging on first-shot SMG bursts now feels closer to CS:GO baseline.
Pros are split. Some welcome the change; others worry it shifts the balance against fast-flicking AWPers.
